Distance Learning & The Laptop Project

For over a decade The Laptop Project has been giving technology to people in need. Now, in light of the current medical crisis, we’re needed more than ever. Social Distancing means our children need computers or tablets in order to attend school, to say nothing of adults who need to work from home. We have been contacted directly by several schools looking for our help. Our supply does not match our demand.

We are actively looking for older devices, working or not working, that can be repaired or turned into Chromebooks. We are currently seeking laptops or all-in-one desktops from as far back as 2009. We are also seeking tablets or smartphones.

We have drop-off locations throughout the US, with a central office in Teaneck, NJ. The Laptop Project  is a recognized 501(c)3 (This was made possible by a grant in memory of Sarala Ginzberg z’l). We are able to provide a tax letter for your donations.

If you can help, please reach out to info@thelaptopproject.org
