Thanks to a very generous anonymous donor, The Laptop Project was able to provide *like new in box* laptops to 24 struggling single parents.

“I’m so grateful for the laptop, and I’m really looking forward to it. I work from home and my current Chromebook is very old and isn’t working well. I need it to be able to do my job and support my family. I’ve been saving up to get a new laptop but other expenses keep trumping the laptop need. Simple things like new shoes for my child, or a car repair, end up dipping into the fund. What having a new laptop would mean to me is that I would finally be able to breathe a little bit easier knowing that I have a computer that doesn’t freeze on me and my work doesn’t constantly get lost or destroyed. It would be a load off my shoulders.
Thank you for this incredible initiative. I never would’ve imagined that there was someone out there who was thinking about my families needs in this kind of way.
